How to use this tool
- Choose a PDF and the pages to number.
- Set the position, starting number and numbering style.
- Review the preview and download the numbered copy.
Understand the result
The physical page position and the printed page number can be different. Skipping a cover does not remove that page. It only leaves it without a new number.
Number a combined document
After merging and ordering files, add numbers once to the final document. Check that the selected range matches the pages you want to label.
Try a sample
Try an original sample to inspect the supported workflow. A successful sample is not a guarantee for every input.

The printed number differs from the viewer’s page position.
Visible stamps do not change the PDF viewer’s internal page index. Check the selected range and starting number. Add numbers after combining and reordering documents so the sequence is final.

Frequently asked questions
Can I skip the cover?
Yes. Select the pages after the cover or use the available skip-cover option. The cover remains in the document.
Will this replace page numbers already in the PDF?
No. Existing page content remains. Choose a position that does not overlap an existing number.
What does N mean in the n / N style?
N is the number of selected pages receiving a new number, not necessarily the total number of physical pages in the file.
