How to use this tool

  1. Choose a supported PDF.
  2. Rearrange thumbnails using drag controls or move buttons.
  3. Check the new sequence and download the PDF.

Understand the result

Reordering changes page sequence without rewriting the page content. Printed page numbers inside a scan or document do not update automatically. Check any table of contents or references that depend on the original sequence.

How do I move the last PDF page to the beginning?

Open the PDF and use the up arrow on the last page preview until it reaches the first position. For three pages, move page 3 up twice to create the order 3, 1, 2. Generate a new PDF after adjusting the sequence. Reopen the saved file and check the first page and section transitions.

How do I insert a page from another PDF?

Reordering works with the pages already in one file. First use Merge PDF to combine your main document and the PDF containing the extra page. Then open the merged result here and move that page into position. To remove a duplicate or empty page, use Delete PDF Pages before or after reordering.

If the result is not what you expected

A page is missing from the source file.

Reordering cannot recreate a missing page. Merge the missing PDF with your document first, then rearrange the complete set. Check the first page, last page and section transitions.

Important limits

  • Printed numbers and references are not rewritten.
  • Bookmark and form behavior needs checking after editing.

Frequently asked questions

Will printed page numbers change?

No. Numbers that are part of the page content remain as they were in the original.

Can I use this without dragging?

Each page should include keyboard-accessible move controls so you can reorder pages without a pointer.
