How to use this tool
- Choose two or more supported PDF files.
- Arrange the files and check their page counts.
- Merge and download the combined document.
Understand the result
Merging appends pages into a new document. It does not rewrite the text or automatically remove duplicate pages. If you need to rearrange individual pages afterward, continue with Reorder PDF Pages.
How do I combine several PDF attachments into one file?
Choose the PDFs and arrange whole files in the order the reader should see them. If one PDF has two pages and another has three, merging them creates five pages. Check the result before sharing; use Reorder PDF Pages afterward if individual pages need a different sequence.
Does merging PDFs compress them or make scanned text searchable?
No. Merging copies pages into one document; it is not a PDF compression or OCR operation. A scanned page remains an image, and the combined file can still be large. Keep signed originals separately because a new merged document is not a replacement for their signature evidence.
Merging and compressing are different tasks
Merging places pages into one document. It does not automatically reduce their image resolution or make the result smaller than all input files combined. Review the page order and keep the originals, especially when signatures or interactive forms matter.
Try a sample
Merge the two-page A document and three-page B document. In that order, the expected output has five pages: A1, A2, B1, B2, B3. Check it in a PDF viewer.
Two-page PDF A ↓ Three-page PDF B ↓If the result is not what you expected
The combined file is still too large.
Merging organizes pages; it is not PDF compression. Remove pages only if the recipient does not need them, or reduce image size in the source document before exporting a new PDF.

- Forms, bookmarks, attachments and other interactive features are not guaranteed to carry over.
- The output is not a secure-redaction tool.
Frequently asked questions
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
This tool accepts unencrypted PDFs. Obtain an accessible copy from the document owner before merging; it does not remove PDF passwords.
Will a digital signature remain valid after merging?
Creating a modified document can invalidate signatures. Keep the signed originals and do not treat a merged copy as a replacement for the original signature evidence.
