How to use this tool

  1. Choose a JPG, PNG or static WebP image.
  2. Crop to a square or add padding and inspect the icon previews.
  3. Download the ZIP and adapt the example paths to your website.

Understand the result

A favicon often appears at a very small size. A clear symbol or letter usually works better than detailed artwork or tiny text. Generated files still need to be uploaded and referenced by your website.

Prepare a small, clear icon

Inspect the 16-pixel preview before downloading. Avoid expecting a wide wordmark or a full photograph to remain readable in a tiny square.

Try a sample

Try an original sample to inspect the supported workflow. A successful sample is not a guarantee for every input.

If the result is not what you expected

The site still displays the old icon.

Generating files does not install them. Check the icon URLs and page markup, then clear the site cache and test a fresh browser session. Browser and search-result icons can update at different times.

Important limits

  • Image input only; convert an SVG to PNG first.
  • The tool does not alter your website configuration.
  • Check your own website after installing the icons because caching and platform behavior can differ.
  • Maximum 10 MB and 12 million pixels. Output includes ICO, PNG icons, a webmanifest and example HTML in a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Does this install the favicon on my site?

No. It prepares files and an example. Upload the files and update the paths or your website settings.

Does the pack make my website a PWA?

No. Icon files and a basic webmanifest are only part of a web app setup.

Why is my logo hard to read at 16 pixels?

Fine detail may disappear at that size. Try a simpler symbol, a stronger shape or more space around the mark.
