PRACTICAL TOOL GUIDE

Prepare Product Photos for Supplier Emails

An easy-to-open image helps a conversation move forward, but a small file is useful only when the relevant product details remain visible.

Choose the detail that answers the question

Select a picture showing the feature you are discussing. A full view can explain the product, while a close-up can show a finish, label or defect. Cropping can remove distracting surroundings. Do not crop away context that the recipient needs to interpret the detail.

Set useful dimensions before lowering quality

If a picture is much larger than the email's viewing area, create a smaller copy with Image Resizer and keep proportions locked. Check the result at a practical display size. Fine print, texture and measurement markings can need more pixels than a general product overview.

Compare the compressed result

Use Image Compressor for JPG or WebP. Inspect actual output bytes and the preview, especially around text and edges. If a size target cannot be reached cleanly, reduce dimensions carefully or send a separate detail image. Do not present compression settings as a substitute for a suitable original photograph.

Send a clear message with a reference

Refer to the picture by a simple descriptive filename and explain the question it answers. Keep original high-resolution files for later review. Mr Kcal's creator and sourcing guides provide related context; Allot Tech covers beverage equipment and textile sourcing projects in the same website network.
