How to use this tool
- Choose the type of information you want to share.
- Enter the details and create your QR code.
- Download a PNG or SVG, then scan the saved file to check its contents.
Understand the result
A static QR code stores the information you enter directly in its pattern. This tool does not add a redirect, expiry date or scan counter. You cannot change the encoded information after printing it; a website linked by the code can still change or become unavailable.
How do I make a QR code for a website or Wi-Fi?
Choose URL for a website or Wi-Fi for network details, then enter the required information and generate the code. Inspect the encoded result before sharing. A Wi-Fi code contains the network details you enter; anyone who can read the code may be able to obtain those details.
Can I create a free QR code that does not expire?
This generator makes static codes and does not add an expiry date or scan subscription. The encoded information cannot be changed later. A destination website can still move or stop working, so test the saved code and the destination before printing a poster or label.
Can I change the destination after generating a QR code?
You can edit the URL and generate a new code before sharing it. Changing the input clears the previous preview and download links so that you do not save the old code by mistake. A static code already printed or shared keeps its original encoded URL. To use a different destination, replace that code with the newly generated one and test it with QR Code Reader.
Try a sample
Try an original sample to inspect the supported workflow. A successful sample is not a guarantee for every input.

The printed code will not scan.
Keep the clear border, avoid covering the code and print it large enough for its viewing distance. Test the actual printed copy on receiving devices. A correct QR payload cannot repair a broken destination URL.
Next useful tool: QR Code Reader →Important limits
- Static codes only: no editable redirect or scan statistics.
- Long content creates a denser code and may exceed the supported capacity.
- Scanning and Wi-Fi/contact actions depend on the receiving device. Always test the exported result.
- Maximum 1,500 UTF-8 bytes, subject to QR capacity. PNG widths: 256, 512 or 1024 pixels.
Frequently asked questions
Will this QR code expire?
The generated static code has no expiry set by this tool. A linked website, Wi-Fi password or contact detail can still stop working or change.
Can I edit the destination later?
The information in a static code is fixed. Generate and distribute a new code when you need to change it.
Which download should I use for printing?
SVG can scale without the pixelation of a small raster image. Keep a clear border, use a strong contrast and test a printed copy at its intended size.
Does a Wi-Fi code keep my password secret?
No. The Wi-Fi details are encoded in the QR image. Share it only with people you want to give those details to.
