How to use this tool
- Choose one or more PNG images.
- Arrange the images and choose page size and margins.
- Create the PDF, then check its page order and readability.
Understand the result
Each selected PNG becomes one PDF page. Fitting an image to the page keeps its proportions; margins can appear when the page and picture have different shapes. The PDF contains pictures, without an OCR text layer.
Combine PNG screenshots into one PDF
Choose the original pictures and arrange them in reading order. Each PNG becomes one page. Our two-image sample lets you inspect page count, proportions and margins in the downloadable PDF. Check small text before sharing.
Choose A4, Letter or image-sized PDF pages
Choose A4 or Letter for a printable document; use image-sized pages when fixed paper dimensions are unnecessary. Keeping proportions can leave margins when paper and pictures have different shapes. The sample PDFs show the resulting page sizes.
Choose the right input before converting
Use this page for PNG pictures. Use Word to PDF for an editable DOCX and Merge PDF for existing PDFs. Image text stays part of the picture; no searchable text layer is added. If the output is too large, resize or compress a copy of the source images and rebuild the PDF.
If the result is not what you expected
I need to copy text from the PDF.
This tool packages images into document pages. For separate editable plain text, use Image to Text on the original screenshot and proofread its result.
Next useful tool: Image to Text →Important limits
- Image text remains image content; no OCR text layer is added.
- Large source images can create a large PDF.
- Static PNG images only; animated files are not supported.
- Up to 20 images, 20 MiB and 25 million pixels per image; 100 MiB and 100 million input pixels in total.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make text in the PNG searchable?
This tool packages images into PDF pages. Image to Text can produce separate editable plain text, but it does not add a text layer to this PDF.
What happens to transparency?
Transparent areas are displayed against the document page background. Inspect pale details and logos in the downloaded PDF; a PDF page is not a transparent image export.
